History of success

In the still young history of WoodMax, a lot already happened. Founded by a German pioneer in 2007, the first production of oak furniture for the Swiss bed manufacturer Hasena started the same year. The partnership was crowned with success. Thus the workforce and the turnover of the factory grew steadily. Over time, the production halls rent were not able to meet the space requirements any longer.

Therefore Woodmax and Hasena both decided to invest in new production halls. In 2014, a new production hall in the industrial park of Thu Dau Mot (one hour's drive from HCMC) was built. On 16'000 m2 oak furniture was produced under high pressure. Already two years later an extension of 5'000 m2 followed. This now provides the necessary space for the finished goods
warehouse.

In the same year Hasena took over the management of Woodmax. Since then, the product range has been continuously expanded. In addition to oak, acacia wood and MDF are also processed. Long-standing partnerships have made the success story of WoodMax possible. Nothing stands in the way of constant growth for the future of this company.

As a solid wood specialist, WoodMax is intensively involved with the natural product: Each tree has grown uniquely, which also leaves its mark on the wood. Here it is important to emphasise the natural beauty of the wood and still offer a consistent high quality. A challenge that Woodmax is happy to take up. Sustainability is also taken into account during the production process. When purchasing wood, WoodMax pays strict attention to
preserving the verifiable proof of the legally harvested wood.
